The history of this family festival started in 1996. The festival Classics over Volga for the first time took place in Togliatti in 2008 and since then is a considerable event of every summer. Mission of festival is to popularize classical music, and also expansion of opportunities for creative realization of young musicians. Linguistic camp on summer holidays is annually organized by Alliance Franaise Togliatti for children, who want to improve their skills of French, English or German. Everyday in camp children are able to communicate with foreign teachers and participate in different activities.
