The official delegation of sister city Luoyang (China) visited Togliatti.

In the period of July 23-25, 2013, the delegation of Chinese Sister city Luoyang, headed by the deputy mayor of the city, Mr. Liu Hiuxin made an official visit to the city of Togliatti.

During the visit, the delegation had a meeting with the city administration officials and discussed plans of cooperation and prospects for the upcoming year of 2014.

During the meeting, both parties presented and discussed proposals for cooperation in such spheres as culture, education, sports, and social support of the city residents

Taking into consideration the guests request, as well as that the delegation members included the head of department of sports and physical education of Luoyang government, the agenda was made to include visits to the main sports facilities of the city.

The delegation visited the nearly finalized Lada Arena Ice Palace, spend some time at the training session of basket ball and young acrobats at the ACROBAT sports complex, got familiarized with the activities taking place at Togliatti Tennis Center, and paid a visit to the Sports technical complex named after Anatoly Stepanov.

The guests from the Sister city visited JSC AVTOVAZ and some of the citys places of interest.

As a result of the visit, the decision was taken to exchange the schedules of sports and cultural events to be carried out in the cities of Luoyang and Togliatti in 2014, to set up the program of cooperation for the upcoming year.
