Togliatti will be represented at the Russian-Italian round table in the State Duma

On June 24, 2015 the Russian-Italian round table "Russia and Italy. The Vectors of Youth integration: culture, science, education, and sport" will be held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Tatiana Burobina, the president of the Volga Institute of Italian Culture/Committee of Dante Alighieri will make a presentation of Togliatti. She will report on the implementation of programs of bilingual Italian-Russian studies from schools Togliatti under federal program PRIA, which is being actively implemented in our city for a number of years. The round table discussion will also be attended by the members of the Italian delegation from the city of Cividale del Friuli, the representatives of the Consulate General of Italy in Moscow, members of the Dante Alighieri Society in Moscow, Italo Calvino school in Moscow, representatives of the Moscow State University, the delegation from St. Petersburg, representatives of the cities of the Moscow region, experts in international relations, project activities in science, culture, art, education and sports of Russia and Italy.

The objectives of the event are to exchange experience in the field of international cultural cooperation, the presentation of the Russian-Italian integration projects, discussion of the preparation and implementation of the program of activities related to the Year of Literature and Dante Alighieri anniversary, and discussion of projects aimed at youth cooperation. The schedule of the round table includes presentation and discussion of the authors projects, presentation of relevant experts, honored guests from Italy, and the deputies of the State Duma.
