The International Festival “Drums of the World – 2015 - Sunny Planet” rounded off in Togliatti

June 26-28, 2015, the International Festival Drums of the World 2015 - Sunny Planet took place in the recreation centre Transportnik in Togliatty, and the event united the musicians and worshippers of ethno cultures from Russia, Africa, South America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Within the framework of the festivals program the visitors not only took part in various musical and dance performances but also improved their creative skills, participating in different types of master classes, such as the drums of people of the world, yoga, the dances of people of the world, which were carried out by the leading Russian and foreign specialists. The guests enjoyed traditional festivals morning yoga on the shores of the Volga River, attended the master classes concerning cooking life food and had numerous tastings. Moreover, an organic food fair with the products from the local farmers was presented during the festival, so those who wish could buy the ingredients to cook life food themselves.

Traditionally there were a great number of colorful and exciting performances for children as well as for adults. As it was before, the participants of this festival shared their knowledge and experience with each other and were open for communication and that created an amazing atmosphere of the event, which went off under the name Sunny Planet in those sunny days.

One should be mentioned, the international festival "Drums of the world"is the oldest and the most wide-scale ethno-festival in Samara region , which has been taking place in Togliatti for 12 years, attracting a large number of people all over the world.
