IV International Forum "City of the Future" was held in Togliatti

October 22-23, 2015, in the city of Togliatti on the site sports complex "Olymp" was held the IV International Forum "City of the Future." The Forum was organised by the Office of the Mayor of the city of Togliatti, with the support of the Government of Samara region.

Traditionally, Forum "City of the Future" served as communication platform for professional discussion of current issues of urban development, investment and innovation projects. In accordance with the objectives of the forum on the discussion and the search for solutions to the major challenges for the development of the city as a harmonious territory for life, increasing social activity of business and citizens, and to increase investment attractiveness. The participants of the International Forum were the representatives of the regional and federal governments, development institutions, managers of large enterprises, as well as invited Russian and international experts.

One of the major stands of Forum was "Welcome to Togliatti"stand by the Department of International and Interregional Relations and the Tourism Development Sector. The visitors could find information materials about the city and its tourism and investment potential. Also everyone could get acquainted with the proposals of tour operators of Tolyatti and learn more about the production of local manufacturers.

Forum programme consisted of a large number of events including roundtable dicussions, and theme sections. The participants and guests of the Forum were attracted by the presentation of the Italian company Bertone Design, which created a project of the memorial in honor of the VAZ First Car 50th Anniversary in Togliatti. Aldo Chingolani, CEO, presented a draft of a new park complex, which is planned to place a unique exhibition hall, a monument to the legendary "Kopeika", green spaces, places for public events, playgrounds, skate park, ponds and walking paths.
