Togliatti hosted the First All-Russia Tourist Forum "Eventful Russia"

12-14 April 2016 The First All-Russian Tourist Forum "Eventful Russia"was held in Togliatti on the site of the hotel "Park Hotel". For the first time,event-managers, regional administration representatives, tourist information centers, tour operators from different regions Russia were unitedon the same site. The experts met with the best event-trigger practices and shared experience.

A place for the Forum "Eventful Russia" was not chosen by chance. For 2 years, Samara region was a leader in event tourism ratings of the national competition "Russian Event Awards". And today, the city of Togliatti is able to provide a platform for learning, collaboration, and communication for the event organizers and tour operators from almost all Russian regions.

Forum confirmed the All-Russia status with the impressive scale of the geography of the participants. 25 Russian regions were presented at the event: from Arkhangelsk Region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District tothe Urals and the European part of Russia.

The format of the Tourism Forum was significantly different from the usual program of business events. The organizers initially bet on the practical component of training. They introduced the participants with modern business technologies, and demostrated experience and examples of successful or unsuccessful projects.

As part of the theme sections, the experts in the event tourism shared the recommendations with the participants on how to establish communication with local authorities, tourist information centers, event organizers, travel agencies and tourists. The main topics of the forum aslso covered issues relating to instruments for the events promotion. At the end of the Forum training programme, the participants received certificates.
