The results of IV Chess Tournament among junior teams of Togliatti and Shenzhen summed up in the City Hall of Togliatti

On Thursday, June 16, theIV Chess tournamentwas finished in Togliatti Chess School.Traditional tournament was held in 3 days and included 6 friendly matches. The participants of the Tournament were 6 players of Togliatti Chess School junior team and 6 members of junior chess team of the Futian District ShenzhenChess Union.

Chess players from the PRC have shown outstanding results, winning 5 of 6 rounds ofthe tournament. Overall scores in Togliatti-Shenzhen Friendly Chess Tournaments is 2-2.

The results of the tournament were announced during the official meeting in the City Hall of Togliatti on Friday, June 17. Alexander Gerunov,Head of the Department of P.T. and Sports, has awarded the winnersand the participants of the Chess Tournament in Togliatti.

It is expected that the next phase of the friendly chess tournament will be held in the city of Shenzhen.
