Tourist project "The Great Volga Route"

The Great Volga Route is a new tourist project in Volga region, which provide an oppotunity for tourists to visit 5 cities in 4 days. The tourist route include Togliatti, Samara, Penza, Zhigulevsk and Syzran.

In the autumn, the interregional route, which united the Samara and Penza regions, was included in the national program of children's cultural and educational tourism "My Russia" for the first time. The program was initiated by the Ministry of Culture of Russia and was implemented with the support of the Russian Union of Travel Industry.

More than 500 schoolchildren from Mordovia, Tomsk, St. Petersburg, the Vologda, Kaluga and Moscow regions and the republics of the North Caucasus: Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia and Karachaevo-Cherkessia passed through the interregional route "The Great Volga Route".

In Togliatti, the children went to the world's largest collection of military equipment in the open air to the Park Complex of K.G. Sakharov and the Museum of AVTOVAZ.
