Winter Festival Zhiguli Sea-018

From February 20 to 25, 2018 in Togliatti the final competition of the Russian Cup 2017-2018 for snowkiting and the traditional kite marathon "Zhiguli Sea-018" were held, which culminated in the big winter festival "Zhiguli Sea for Children!".

36 people from Togliatti, Samara, Moscow, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Petrozavodsk, Surgut, Tyumen, Naryan-Mar and other Russian cities took part in this year's Cup final. In the final two days of the competition, another three dozen kite lovers joined the Cup participants to try their skills in the fan races of the "Zhiguli Sea".

A bright point, finishing the sports program, was a big festival for young people "Zhiguli Sea for Children!". It was held on February 24 and united more than 5,000 townspeople at the embankment of Avtozavodsky district. The most spectacular event of the festival day was a children's race from the RUN TLT run school. Children of all ages ran a distance of 200 meters, earning the first medals and tasty prizes.
