Schoolchildren of Togliatti and sister cities took part in the International Linguistic Contest

From 22 to 26 February, the International Linguistic Contest was held in Togliatti. The contest was organized by the Gymnasium No. 38. Participants of the contest were schoolchildren from 8-10 grades of educational institutions of the city of Togliatti from Gymnasium No. 9, Lyceum No. 60 , OOC "School", Schools No. 34, 44, 70, 91, as well as foreign students from sister cities Wolfsburg (Germany) and Kazanlak (Bulgaria). The Contest was held with the support of the Department of International and Interregional Relations of the city of Togliatti.

The linguistic contest was held in the following languages: Russian as a foreign language, English, German, French.

The compertitions were provided for both team and individual championships. The team competition was dedicated to the topic Technological progress and its impact on the ecology of the planet. Ways to solve problems. A public speaking competition was on the topic The impact of technological progress on the ecology of my area / region .

The organizers of the Contest had prepared tasks for this intellectual competition. Participants of the competition made presentations on a given topic. The schoolchildren showed a high level of proficiency not only in foreign languages, but also their awareness of the ecology of their region and the planet. During their performances, they demonstrated their public speaking skills, acting skills, and the ability to find original ways to solve environmental problems.
