The start of the new enterprise has become another confirmation that the Samara Region is strengthening its position in the investment arena of the country. Today, there are all the necessary tax regimes here, key investment sites are developing dynamically, more and more investors are choosing the region for their production.

The new medical device plant will produce disposable nitrile examination gloves. The start of the production was done by the Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov@azarov.life. This is the only full-cycle production of this kind in Russia. Products manufactured in Togliatti are planned to be delivered to medical institutions, to enterprises in the field of household services.

Investors allocated more than 729 million rubles for the construction of the Samara plant of medical devices. The plant will reach its capacity of 108 million pairs per year in the second quarter of this year. The enterprise will operate 2 lines, and more than 80 citizens of Togliatti will work here.

The issue of attracting private investment to the region is supervised by the regional ministry of economic development and investment, headed by Dmitry Bogdanov. As the minister said, Samara plant of medical devices is not the only enterprise that will open this year in the SEZ "Togliatti".

Its a unique production, there are no analogues in Russia today. Samara plant of medical devices will take from 3 to 5% of the Russian market, we are already working with investors on the issue of expanding production so that the products can be fully localized in Russia. By the end of 2021, four more enterprises will be opened in the Togliatti SEZ, said Dmitry Bogdanov. - Governor Dmitry Azarov pays special attention to the supporting measures for enterprises. Today the Samara Region is increasing the pace in this direction. In 2020, 10 thousand new jobs were created, this year we expect to overfulfill this plan by 1.5 times, the minister added.

In recent years, large-scale, systematic work has been carried out in the region to create a favorable business environment: investment sites with tax preferences are being created and implemented, administrative barriers for business are reduced, and large-scale infrastructure projects are being implemented that can bring the region to a new level of investment attraction.

So, our region has become a leader in the field of public-private partnerships, in 2019 having won the first place in the ranking of the country's subjects in terms of the level of PPP development.

According to the results of the 6thNational Rating of Investment Attractiveness, the SEZ "Togliatti" took the 3rdplace and entered the TOP of the most attractive sites in Russia. At the same time, the SEZ was in the top three in terms of the dynamics of the number of residents.

Regime of territories of advanced development operates today in Togliatti and Chapayevsk. Togliatti PSEDA has become a system leader in terms of the number of agents involved, actively developing small and medium-sized businesses. Today 72 companies are registered in Togliatti PSEDA, residences have already invested more than 16.8 billion rubles and created 5.5 thousand work places.
