Sports veterans from Togliatti go to Torino for medals

The residents of Togliatti left for Torino, to take part in the World Masters Games. This events similar to the Olympic Games but aimed to bring in the age-advanced athletes is the worlds largest event for the sports vets. This year, an unheard of number of athletes gathered together in Torino, Italy. Around 50 thousand sportsmen out of more than 100 countries will compete in 29 kinds of sports. Russias delegation will include 600 athletes, including 16 persons from Togliatti, 3 sportsmen from Samara, and 1 person from Novokuibyshevsk, to compete in athletics, triathlon, duathlon, swimming, target shooting, rowing, bicycling, badminton, and table tennis. The Samara athletic team is especially strong this year. Comparing the results of the previous World Masters Games in Sydney, Australia, it is safe to say that the medals are guaranteed in Torino.
