Eight companies have plans to launch production sites at the SEZ "Togliatti" in 2015

Today, the SEZ "Togliatti" is one of the most favorable sites for investments in the Samara region. The principles of government-to-business relations and mutual cooperation are realized on the territory of the Special Economic Zone. There are advanced infrastructure and benefits for business on the one side and the SEZ provides products and new jobs for citizens on the other side.

One of the most important events in 2014 for the SEZ "Togliatti" was a launch of the first production facility. In August, Nobel Automotive Russia , the subsidiary of the Turkish Orhan Holding, has been started the production of autocomponents.
The overall flow of the investments in the develoment of the SEZ "Togliatti" was more than 5 billion RuR in previous year. By 2015 the resident companies of the SEZ are planning to invest about 19 billion RuR into their projects and create about 4500 new jobs.

There are significant results in the construction and infrastructure development of the SEZ in 2014. The first phase of construction started in the late 2012 and currently the production sites are under construction with total area of 181 ha, including 16 km of water pipes, 8 km of pipeline,the power supply network, roads, water treatment plants and other facilities.

In 2015, the SEZ "Togliatti" plans to launch eight production sites of resident companies, as well as begin construction of the second phase, including customs post, with a total area of 245.6 hectares. The officials of the SEZ "Togliatti" expects growing interest in the project from the Russian and foreign investors and considering the possibility of increasing the number of residents of the SEZ.

The activities of SEZ "Togliatti" is aimed at the development of industrial and socio-economic potential of the city of Togliatti and the Samara region, by increasing production volumes and GRP, development of new industries, the use of modern technologies, increasing employment.

At the start of production sites there will be an active recruitment. It is expected that in 2015 the resident enterprises will employ about 800 professionals. Later, the companies will create up to 30,000 jobs. That is why the universities of Togliatti and Samara begin to cooperate with the Special Economic Zone and plan to focus on resident companies in the preparation of students.
